Coaching and Consulting for Positive Societal Impact

By bringing an intercultural and intersectional perspective, I help leaders reflect on the world and themselves, eliminate blind spots, better understand underlying causes and structures to problems and challenges, explore and test ideas, and find the good sustainable solutions we need in an interconnected, interdependent and complex world.

I believe the world is moving in the direction of knowledge networks, where individuals find each other and connect through ideas, different perspectives, values, purpose, and a “can-do” mentality.

Influence never stemmed from formal power or position alone – and even less so today. Nowadays, we find our own thought-leaders, communities, and contexts that matter to us, that expand our minds, and help us grow. I think this trend – already highly relevant when it comes to personal development - will also extend to how, and with whom, we decide to do business.

We want to be able to trust our business partners – their dedication and their competence and capacity for ideas and insights. We want to feel energized from cooperation. And, together, clients and partners want to be able to tackle current problems as well as identify new sources of growth.

When we are aware of that we don’t know everything, but are eager to learn from each other, and when we also feel a genuine commitment to having a positive impact in our organizations, in our communities, and in the world, important conditions are in place for achieving greatness.

From then on it will become easy to leave egos at the door. Your mind will be open to exploring new ideas and untraditional paths. And in the instances where you actually do know what needs to be done to get the results you are looking for, you will be less likely to let anxiety, or poorly designed incentive structures, guide your decisions. In fact, you will be ready to redesign malfunctioning systems and propose structures that yield positive outcomes.

And furthermore, you will discover that you become courageous when you are speaking and operating from a place of conviction. You will own your agenda, visions, and goals in a whole new way.
